GRAND VIEW BEND CAMPGROUND RULES for Reciprocal Campers

Check in time is 2pm and check out time is 12 noon. There are no discounts on Holiday weekends and require a minimum three-night stay.

Any minor must be accompanied by an adult after dark!

Registration

All Campers must register with the reciprocal host upon entering the campgrounds. Host can be reached at 574-575-5927. Please wait at designated area for host to check you into your reserved lot.

Site area

Campground Quiet Hours: all children should be at own campsite at 11:00 p.m. (State law is 11 p.m. to 8 a.m.)

● Each site may have 2 adults, 3 children, a limit of 1 (one) camping unit, 1 (one) tow vehicle and 1 (one) guest vehicle per lot. Additional persons will be charged $5.00 per day, $25.00 per week or $50 monthly. Additional vehicles must park in designated overflow parking. You may have guests visit your site at no charge. if they wish to use the pool you must purchase one day pool bands at a cost of $5.00 per band. Anyone with guests or children causing disturbances or destruction of property will be responsible for damages. If the property owner will not be responsible for their guests, then the Board of Directors will take appropriate action up to and including expulsion from the park.

● Only use designated fire pits. All fires must be extinguished when not at your lot.

● Trash must be tied in plastic bags and disposed of in the trash dumpster. All lots must be kept clean and free of trash and debris.

● Do not move picnic tables from campsite without approval from host.

● Keep your radio, TV and other electronics volume low so as not to disturb your neighbors.

● No minor may be left at campsite without parent or guardian.

● Clothes lines are not permitted.

Pets

● All pets must be restrained on owner's lot (leash, chain or fenced). When walking dog in park, leash must be physically held by person walking dog. Dogs or other animals shall not be permitted to create a public nuisance (excessive barking or howling) or a health hazard. Owners must pick up feces!

● Pets are not allowed on other camper’s site without permission.

● No leashes, chains or rope shall be fastened to trees or fence.

● Pets must not be permitted to dig holes.

● No pets are permitted in any community building.

● You are responsible for your pets at all times!

Road area rules

No motorized ATV’s, dirt bikes, gas golf carts, go-carts or other such vehicle are permitted in the park.

● All vehicles must observe the 5mph speed limit in the park; this includes golf carts and mobility scooters. Pedestrians have the right of way! Please limit driving in the park. For your safety and the safety of others, please use flashlight at night.

● All golf carts and scooters must be operated by a licensed driver. Those with a learner’s permit must abide by the restrictions of the state it is issued and be accompanied in the front seat by a licensed driver.

● Electric golf carts and scooters must have a permit. Permits are to be purchased at a cost of $5.00 weekly, $15.00 monthly or $75 for a season. Permits must be purchased from the reciprocal host.

● Motorcyclists and gas moped drivers may enter the campground and proceed directly to their lot and leave in the same manner. No pleasure driving around the campground.

● Multiple Wheeled Electric (no gas carts allowed) Vehicles (unlicensed, motorized) Must Observe the Following:

● Anything other than four-wheeled golf carts strongly discouraged. Electric scooter operators must obey the same rules as golf cart operators. Anyone 15 and younger operating a battery powered scooter or power wheel type vehicle must be accompanied by a parent at all times; and if caught without a parent, the vehicle will be confined to the property owner's lot.

● Failure to abide by these regulations will result in corrective action taken by your Board of Directors.

All golf carts, bicycles, scooters, and power wheel type vehicles must have front and rear lights in use after dark.

Facilities

● No one will be allowed on any community property appearing intoxicated, disorderly, or causing a public nuisance. Smoking is prohibited in all public areas and buildings.

● Parents are responsible for their children. Be sure they understand and obey all park rules. Please accompany small children to restrooms and play areas. Know where your children are at all times. The reciprocal renter is responsible for any damage done by their family/children/and or guests.

● Restrooms/bathhouses are for campers and registered visitors only. They are to be used for personal hygiene only! Washing dished or laundry are not permitted.

● No food or drink of any kind is allowed in the pool area. No smoking in the pool area. Inner tubes, rafts, balls, etc. allowed in pool only when ten or less people are in the pool area to prevent hazards to the swimmers. No cut offs or street clothes allowed in the pool; swimming suits only (Note: a tee-shirt may be worn over a bathing suit). No loitering in pool area. Per State regulations, children ages 13 and younger must be accompanied by an adult (18 yrs. old) at all times. All persons entering the pool area must have a swim band displayed on their person at all times.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at any time. Violation of campground rules and regulations will be grounds for eviction from the park.
